Architectural Technician

Eco-conscious, small, collaborative team. And the ‘go to’ architecture firm for projects required by at least two Government departments.

This newly created role is part of the employer’s proactive approach to further opportunities in residential work and to better service their existing clients (from whom there is more demand than they can currently meet).

The business provides a fully integrated design and management service to their valued clients, which include Government owned entities with quite specialised requirements.

 

  • The team uses Vectorworks

  • This is a practical role

  • You will be drawing up designs that both meet the clients’ stated (and sometimes implied needs) – and your plans will be feasible – ready to pass through council with the appropriate consents

  • In regular consultation with the business owner and construction manager, you will work as a team to get projects over the line, within budget and on time

Wholesale Sales Manager

Mt Wellington
Circa $55,000

  • Lead the sales team by example, as you drive growth in profit and sales in this company’s wholesale division


In this busy Wholesale Department, your focus will be on:
 

  • Supporting your team, so they have the skills to confidently acquire new business and grow the revenue received from existing clients

  • Consulting with others in the wider business, as you take the lead in all commercial aspects of the sale – including ensuring adequate stock and setting sales KPI’s and product sales margins

  • You will be prudent in expenditure and careful in the management of inventory to meet supply – whilst taking care to minimise wastage

  • Through marketing emails and regular chats with clients, you will keep up to speed with their changing requirements and you will ensure that they are constantly up-to-speed with the products you have available

  • There will be nothing you ask of your team that you are not equally comfortable doing yourself.


Hours
 

  • This role offers early starts – from 5am – and similarly early finish

  • Start 5am to around 1 or 2pm – Monday, Wednesday & Friday

  • Start 7.30am to 2pm – Tuesday & Thursday

  • 40 hours per week
