Support others in the team with your ability to provide detailed drawings that meet the client’s needs, whilst also demonstrating your understanding of the NZ Building Code and its working requirements.

Project Supervisor

Wastewater, drainlaying, irrigation, water pumps, filtration and more

South Auckland

Elsewhere as / when required

Up to $70,000
Plus use of company vehicle


Installation, repair & maintenance of wastewater, drainlaying, irrigation, water pumps, filtration and rural water systems & more. You will turn your hand to any of these projects, as you also oversee the big picture, setting priorities & timelines.

There will be a strong requirement to apply your practical mindset on projects that deliver essential services to residential, Government and commercial customers.

Because the business is there from installation, through repair – to planned maintenance, you will be part of a high performing team, who work to maintain long-term business relationships. If you are successful in securing this role, you can expect to find:

 

  • Good bunch of experienced guys in the team

  • Long-term partnerships with other sub-contractors

  • Medium sized, stable business

  • Use of company vehicle as/when required


What you need to have

The employer wants someone whose past practical experience can be put to use.  That means that you will have hands-on experience as follows.

Prefer a trade related background – possibly drainlaying, installation / service / repair of UV systems, water pumps or similar

Ability to manage time, resources and people cost effectively

Good organisational skills – coupled with the ability to get the cooperation of others to get a job done

Willing to give things a go – possibly experiment when there isn’t an obvious way forward

Pride in your workmanship – complete your own work to a high standard, with regard to ensuring the client gets what was promised

Agility to roll with things when priorities change
